Giftings are for everyone
For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. 2Timothy 1:7
God wants us to live in a spirit of power, of love and self discipline. He has given us that. When we hold back our giftings, we are really holding off of other’s blessings, because our giftings are for everyone. “But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand.” Isaiah 32:8 God has given each one of us ways to make a good difference in people’s lives. What’s an area you could take off the shelf and be bold in Jesus!
Lord Jesus, I desire spiritual giftings so I can come up with ways of being a blessing. Thanks for empowering me to live boldly for you Lord.
Laughing at your tomorrows
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. Proverbs 31:25
You can look forward to the future with no fear, because you know Jesus walks beside you. The Lord goes before us. We can thank God that our future is secure in His love and righteousness over our lives. “The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in From this time and forever.” Psalm 121:8 Have you ever been thinking about how much prayers from your loved ones have caused you peace in Jesus, blessing and protection?
Heavenly Father, thanks for your presence and closeness. Thanks that you have written every day of my life in your book. I pray for my family and friends, your peace, blessings and supernatural protection, in Jesus’ name.
Praying for souls
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
Because our hearts are for Jesus, our hearts are for souls, as that means so much to God. When we are thinking of souls, we are thinking what is on God’s mind. And the really precious aspect is we get to partner with God to pray and seek the Lord for people to meet Jesus. Who could you ask the Holy Spirit to draw to the Father today. What people groups or demographics can you pray for revival and reconciliation with God, Jesus saving multitudes.
Lord God, thanks for sending Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins. I pray for souls to come to know you God. I pray for people groups for revival, in Jesus’ name.
So much blessing
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
The Lord can bless us so much, that we can bless people and have nothing to hold us back from all Jesus calls us to. If you have had lack in areas of your life, ask the Lord who is able to cause blessings to overtake you. When thinking of our tithes, that’s something God says we can test the Lord in. He always provides what we need. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 God has so much blessing for us. More blessing that we can contain.
Heavenly Father, thanks for your constant support. Thanks for blessing me, so I can be a blessing.
Lives in Jesus
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything from us, but our sufficiency. 2 Corinthians 3:5
We live in a time where there are hacks for everything. AI is the biggest shortcut. And yet we are not self made people. In ourselves, we are not sufficient. Only God is all sufficient. In Jesus, we find everything we need. He is our all sufficiency. All the grace we need, the truth and mercy. All the wisdom needed, every miracle we need, everything is in the name of Jesus. We cannot flourish without being connected with Him. We live well as we have an interdependence with Jesus and godly people who we surround ourselves with, knowing we will thrive in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in, because of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, I drop everything and just say I need you so very much. Help me draw closer to you and build healthy and godly friendships, amen.
Needing direction?
Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21
Is so good the way the Lord guides so gently. Praise Jesus for his abiding presence and for being the living Word. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. Whether you need direction for your decisions or discernment in your life, God is there to help us. We are not left helpless. We can be bold approaching the Lord. What could you bring to Jesus today? How has the Lord guided you?
Heavenly Father, thanks for your presence. You are very dear to me. Help me hear your voice and the gentleness of your guidance.
Prayer confidence
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15
Whenever you need the Lord, He’s available for you. You can have confidence going to Jesus. Because we know that He hears our prayers, we know we have what we have asked for. That’s what faith is. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 He’s the Lord that turns situations around. God meets you at the place of your need as you seek Him. Whenever you cry out to God, the Holy Spirit moves in response.
Lord Jesus, I am in need of you so much. I ask you please turn these situations around, in Jesus’ name, amen. Thankyou for hearing my prayer Lord.
Holy and blameless
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world for us to be holy and blameless before Him, in love. Ephesians 1:4
Even before the creation of the world, God chose you as holy and blameless before the Lord. Your value is unquantifiable by our measure. Every life that is conceived has immeasurable value and very loved by our Father God. The Lord calls us holy and blameless and because of that living for God by the Spirit is life to the full. How can we reframe our thinking to realign with God’s Word. Have you ever heard of the flat earthers? They are people who still believe that the earth is flat and not curved. When God provides us with new revelations, that is what we are to live by. You were created on purpose, for a purpose and are set apart for Jesus, holy in His sight. Imagine what life was like when people discovered the earth was circular. There would have been back lash as people would learn about the new revelation. A part of knowing the Lord is learning continually. What has the Holy Spirit been enlightening you about lately?
Father God, thanks that you love and value each person immeasurably and that you call us holy and blameless in you Jesus. Help me live in your love and revealed Word Lord.
Jesus promises
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalms 23:3
God promises us goodness and mercy that will follow us for all our days. When you have times of success, that’s when you can give praise to God and the same in our suffering. The Lord will bring us to new heights again. His goodness and mercy follows us. Hold on to your hope in Jesus. You will walk out the other side of the valleys, all the while finding eternal peace in the Lord.
Lord Jesus, thanks for your love, mercy and grace. In every moment I feel you are with me.
Abiding presence
If you abide in Me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7
Close to Jesus is the place of miracles. How wonderful, that God really does answer prayers. As we make room for Jesus’ words to make an impact in our lives, we can indeed ask, and what we ask will happen. We can thank God in advance for answered prayer. What are you believing for today? If you ask the Lord, “what are you saying to me today?”, then pray what the Lord has whispered to your heart, what could very well happen?
Lord Jesus, thanks for your abiding presence. Your Word means so much to me. Today, I believe as I ask for miracles, you will bring healing, in Jesus’ name.
Light of our lives
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. John 1:1-4
Jesus’ light is the light of all humanity. Praise God, everything that has been made has been created by Him. If you were ever wondering how life works, like a puzzle, Jesus is the piece that completes the puzzle. All glory is the Lord’s. Knowing our origin, gives us life purpose, to shine for Him, to live for Him. How much more does the Lord do in and around our lives that we may not even realise.
Lord Jesus, I remember you. Thanks for all you have created and how you are truly the light of our lives.
Keeping power
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14
The Bible says those who wait on the Lord will gain new energy (Isaiah 40:31). Keep your courage and lean towards Jesus today. The Lord is always with you and is your portion. We are call to give from the overflow and we get that anointing from the secret place in Jesus. He goes before you and loves when we rely on Him. Praise the Lord for His keeping power. Jesus takes our burdens and gives us what is light on our way. God keeps us and loves our closeness to Him. How has the Lord kept you in His love and blessings in your life?
Lord Jesus, thanks for always being my everything and inspiration.
Generous in spirit
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work in us. Ephesians 3:20
Our praise goes to God, because He makes the impossible, possible. The more grateful you become, the more aware you will become of the goodness of the Lord. Just add faith, pray, wait and expect. As we sow, that is how we will reap. So if we are putting in plenty of prayer we are going to reap a harvest of the miraculous(2 Corinthians 9:5-7). The principle of sowing and reaping can be related to our generosity of finances and can relate to our gratitude and our prayers.
Lord Jesus, help me have a generous spirit knowing you operate in the supernatural in our day.
Blessing in Christ
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1
How great is the mercy of the Lord. So great that we can’t help to be motivated to give our lives daily again to Jesus. We are able to push through mediocrity and to all the blessings in Christ to discover each and every day. Like the sun that shines, so is the love of Christ shining over us. As we bask in the love of Jesus, we are being prepared to be a blessing in our lives.
Lord Jesus, you gave your life for me. I am so grateful and don’t take for granted your faithfulness. I want to give my life to you.
Jesus saves!
Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Psalms 96:2
Jesus saves! When the Lord has changed your life you just want to tell everyone about how He has saved you. Our passion for Jesus is something we can build. Creating moments that we praise the Lord and bless His name is so good. “It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.” Psalms 92:1
Lord Jesus, my heart is filled with gratitude for your salvation. I want to declare your praise today. Thank you Lord.
So blessed
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips;meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8
Every scripture quickened to you by the Spirit is able to set you up for success in your day. What is a verse you have been thinking of lately. Is so healthy and healing to reflect on Jesus and how He impacts us by His Word. When the person of Jesus walked into your life, His presence changed everything. We are so blessed to freely read and share the precious Word of God. If you are searching for answers, they are all in the Bible. The Holy Spirit brings the written words to life. “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” 3 John 1:2
Other translations state, “as your soul prospers.” If we can have the Word of God central in our lives, we may well prosper, as our soul’s prosper.
Gracious Heavenly Father, thanks for your precious words written to us. Help me grow in receiving your rhema words and dwelling on you Lord.
Lights for Jesus
For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:17
God wants us to have our arms open wide to the world and yet be really different from the world. How Jesus interacted with people and who He shared His time with demonstrates His love for the world. “When Jesus heard it, He said unto them, “They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”” Mark 2:17 We are called to be a light on a hill for Jesus (Matthew 5:14). Most changes happen in people’s lives as they are walking with Jesus and by the Holy Spirit working in their lives.
Heavenly Father, thanks for your great love for humanity. Help me shine for you daily Jesus.
Everything in love
Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
We are dealing not just with facts, we are dealing with real people and being sensitive to how they may be feeling is crucial as we seek to help and build people up. Our delivery can make all the difference. Instead of brashness or harsh words, a little kindness goes a long way. If we can listen to the Holy Spirit, being mindful of everyone, how many will we be able reach for the Lord? We can all learn so much from the way the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth, in tenderness and wisdom.
Lord Jesus, thanks for the Holy Spirit, our comforter and counsellor who knows what we need. Give me the wisdom to deliver what’s true wrapped in humble love and grace, amen.
Seeking after the Lord
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33
At youth group we sometimes would go into the city and find clues that would lead us eventually to a final destination. Was always good fun. In life, going after the Lord and His reign in your life, and you find everything works for the best. The Lord is our provider and as we live in His righteousness, He adds everything to us. God is faithful. Jesus is our keeper, shepherd and Lord. Following Jesus and you will receive much more in the everyday. Being aware of the goodness of the Lord is to live gratefully. What are you thankful for today? More than you have fingers and toes to count you have of blessing in Christ. Seeking the Lord’s kingdom and His righteousness really is like finding clues along the way. You are going to reach your destination in Him.
Heavenly Father, help me be enthusiastic in following you and seeking your kingdom. Thanks Jesus for every blessing each day.
Local church, beacon of hope
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
Excited about those who are yet to know Jesus? You could be praying for souls, believing for people to enter the kingdom. Your prayers make a difference. The local church is the main vehicle God uses bringing people to know Jesus. Is the place the gospel is freely shared and people are invited to pray and begin a relationship with God. When we support the church, we support lives being eternally saved. We can be bringers of people, fishers of men. As you draw near to God, you discover the heartbeat of heaven is for those who don’t yet know Jesus. He came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).
Lord Jesus, thanks that you seek people who don’t know God. Believing for places that create opportunities for people to know Jesus. Amen.
