Courageous

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8

God wants us to stay enthused. What the Lord has done is enough for you to know He is Lord and He is able. As we rely on the finished work of the cross, we are empowered to prosper. “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.” 3 John 1:2 Remembering Jesus and all the Lord has done is key to our soul prospering. When Joshua was standing at the beginning of all his dreams in the Lord, he would have remembered how God delivered the people of Israel from Egypt and how they were rescued by God making a way through the Red Sea. The Lord was with Him and that was reason to be strong and courageous.
