What happens when you memorise scriptures? Your conscience is sharpened, your knowledge and understanding of God increases and our love for people grows. The Bible is filled with wisdom and tells of who God is and Jesus’s heart for people. As we get to know Jesus better, that is going to have a good influence on our lives. “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”Zechariah 4:10 The Lord rejoices as we begin in Him. Every step you make living for Jesus and loving Him matters. Reading, memorising and meditating is worthwhile. Knowing Jesus changes our worldviews and how we live our daily lives.
