"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
Being steadfast is something the Lord builds in our lives as we continue to follow Him. And knowing the Holy Spirit is keeping you is a relief. God wants us to know His love over our lives because then we will not equate our life by our performance, as may be the natural thing to do. Our value is based on God’s love for us and that is unwavering. When we are operating from the correct foundation, good works are easier and what you do for the Lord is not in striving. Being passionate about Jesus and His work in the earth, is what we are all for. Many people still haven’t heard the gospel, there are still people to reach for the Lord. Being fired up for Jesus brings the gospel wherever you go.
