Whole life for Praise

You are my God, and I will praise you and I will exalt you. Psalm 118:28

If you have made Jesus your Lord, I feel it is one of the most precious gifts your life can do to praise Him. It’s a choice of the will to praise and is joyous also. It’s surprisingly true that if you decide to use your time for praise or prayer or whatever it is, your life follows that directive. 

Jesus I want a whole life of praise for just you, for you are my God! 

Overcome

Fear not, for I am with you.

Isaiah 41:10

Whatever obstacle you might want to overcome, the Word has the antidote, the answers to solve whatever it is. For example, if you can overcome fear, what possibly could be your story. Through Scripture is this ‘fear not’ command, I am saying command as fear can hold you from the abundant life Jesus calls us all to. I can’t say that I have arrived but I am journeying to overcome fear that is not from God. A practical idea is to have listed scripture and declare this (I have had a book Praying through Fear by Stormie Omartin that is great for this). It is more than than words, as you lift your voice, it is your spirit praying to Jesus that His truth light is able to deliver and set free.

Thankyou Jesus, your Word is as a sword and able to bring the right word of encouragement for today and every day.

Clear Thought

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. Luke 18:1

Parables through sermons aren’t just a great idea, Jesus was the original painter of storyline that had a clear thought to share. Always pray and never give up. Jesus had vision of what was after what He would go through and wants that for you and I, to have faith and keep praying. 

Lord Jesus, thanks for your vision, the courage to keep praying, for all you call my life to.
