Creator God

The heavens will praise your wonders, O Lord; Your faithfulness also in the congregation of the holy ones. Psalm 89:5

Everyday, it’s almost like God paints the skies in such an original way that you can often find yourself marvelling at who God is. God is great and awesome. When people meet together as the church, God’s faithfulness is on display. What can you praise Jesus for today?

Thanks Lord for the beautiful skies everyday unique. You remind me in that way that you are creator God, incredible and majestic.

Jesus’ name

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

Thinking of the name of the Lord, what do you think of ? A place of security and authority. A place to find relief and peace. Gods name means healing, peace, love and refuge. Today, what can you run into the Lord Jesus Christ for, knowing that he is always there?

Jesus thankyou for your name Lord. Help me to go to you with everything I need.

Leaning on Jesus

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

God doesn’t want us to just survive, he wants us to thrive, whether having abundance or suffering need. Whatever the circumstances, you have Jesus to strengthen you. That’s the real truth, as life has ups and downs, Christ brings stability. You can lean on Jesus everyday.

Thanks Jesus, I lean towards you today knowing you are my peace and you strengthen me.

Generational blessing

He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations. Psalm 105:8

Praise Jesus that we get to be a part of a generational blessing from God. Something to pray into is areas that seem empty, where you need that blessing from the Lord. We all want to be fruitful spiritually and that’s what the Lord promises each one of us generationally.

Thanks Jesus for every spiritual blessing. I pray fruitfulness in every aspect of life for your praise God.

Blessed in Jesus

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

Our real life is in Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ. Thank God for such goodness that we are blessed like that. Whatever your need is, you can know that you have all that blessing in Jesus.

Praise you God for blessing us with every spiritual blessing in Jesus

Wisdom from God

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8

Wisdom is knowledge with application to life. Thank God that we can ask him for wisdom and He will give us wisdom as we believe. There’s much to learn and grow in wisdom and understanding that makes life better. What is something you can seek God for wisdom in your life today?

Thanks Jesus for help and hope of wisdom and understanding in you Lord.

In Christ we triumph

Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

Thank God, we overcome in Christ Jesus. In Christ we triumph, he causes us to triumph. Wherever you are, people are awakened to the knowledge of Jesus. Everything is because of Christ Jesus, all praise to God. Wherever you go today, know that Jesus is with you and his power is working that people would know he is real.

Thanks Jesus, you are the reason we triumph always. Believing for more people to know you are alive.

Exalting Jesus

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3

Praising the Lord is a natural encouragement for others to praise Jesus as well. The best worship leading we can do is to be an example of worshipping. As we exalt Jesus together there’s a corporate anointing that is such a blessing.

Bless you Lord. Praise you Jesus for who you are.

Presence of God

He makes my feet like hinds feet, and sets me upon my high places. Psalm 18:33

Graceful and precise, able to reach high places. The presence of the Lord carries us and takes us to new places we have yet to have gone. That’s good news if we sometimes feel like awkward. That’s all different close to Jesus. He keeps our feet on the ground and spirit in Christ in heavenly places.

Thanks Jesus, help me know you are leading and guiding my every step to your praise.

Belief from the Word

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 11:17

Do you remember the first time you heard the gospel? For me, was like the lights being switched on. Was like being born again, a whole new life. Even now, hearing the word of God is still wonderful. I feel like I couldn’t live without the word of God. Belief is from hearing the word of God. What scripture has given you faith of late?

Thanks Jesus for the word of God. Help me have a passion for more of you from scripture everyday.

Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13

When you need hope, go to Jesus. He is the God of hope. That much encouragement is there in the presence of Christ. God wants you to have hope to the extent that you can’t contain the amount of hope. How can you create space for that purpose of being close to Jesus?

Thanks Jesus for your hope and encouragement. Help me make space for you in the everyday.

Progress made

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Proverbs 8:13

The fear of the Lord is somewhat of a mystery and there are many promises attached to our fear of the Lord. Praise God for every blessing in following Jesus. He rejoices in the progress that each of us make. There is always more to learn and to grow in respect of God.

Thanks Lord Jesus, help me to have fear of the Lord in every area of my live. Help me grow in you today.

Keep believing

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; the greatest of these is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Faith, hope and love are the three elements that will remain. Keep believing, and have hope. Faith will be there and love. Excited for believing and hoping and loving. These are like three goals you can have to bless your day.

Faithful love

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 118:1

When gratefulness fills our lives, that is a good place to be. As we give thanks to God, we are reframing our thinking. Gratefulness can help you through a storm. After the verse there is a testimony of the Lord’s help. When you remember what the Lord has done, that can help you overcome in your everyday life. The Lord’s faithful love is forever and always.

Thanks Jesus your faithful love is beautiful. Praise you for all you are Lord.

Great need of the Holy Spirit

I indeed have baptised you with water; he will baptise you with the Holy Spirit. Mark 1:8

Realising your great need of the Holy Spirit, is the beginning of a wonderful happening. Jesus will baptise you with the Holy Spirit. And as we are, we shall be changed and set apart for God. Not just a one off event, everyday is the opportune time to be filled and renewed in the presence of the Lord.

Praise Jesus for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Lord, increase my hunger for you Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name, amen.

One thing

This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:13,14

When you are looking forward in life, you have great vision. If you can keep in mind all that is in Christ Jesus, that can help you from staying in the same old rut you were in. It’s good to make your one thing that you do to stretch towards that “mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ,” Philippians 3:14

Jesus, thanks for the opportunity to serve you and live in the centre of your will.

Community

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

Good advice from a friend is always welcome. People sharpen other people just being in fellowship. Community is strengthening and life changing. We haven’t arrived. Being committed to being a life long learner will increase your capacity of what you are able to contribute.

Thanks Lord for good friendship and people that are such a blessing.

Be of good courage

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24

The Lord wants to strengthen your heart as you are of good courage. If Jesus believes in you, you can believe in yourself also. Think of the way God thinks of you. You are his beloved. You are the redeemed of the Lord. You are a child of God. You are the apple of his eye. Good courage is doable as you believe what God tells you of in the Bible.

Thanks Lord for the courage to follow you with all I am.

Flying like eagles

The strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired. Isaiah 40:31

There is renewal for those who wait on the Lord. Eagles effortlessly fly, that’s what it’s like when you wait upon God. You have boundless energy, able to run and not get weary and walk and not get tired. Are you ever feeling weak spiritually? There’s new strength for you in the presence of God.

Thanks Jesus for renewal in your presence.

Building up

The hope of the righteous is gladness. Proverbs 10:28

Of many places you could put your expectancies, in Jesus presence, that can  be the greater source of perpetual blessings from day to day. There are many ways of  building up your spirit, from prayer in the heavenly language and spontaneous praise and worship to church fellowship and times of quiet reflect.

Thankfulness Jesus for your presence, peace and love in the Holy Spirit.
