Every generation

One generation will praise Your works to another, And shall declare your mighty acts. Psalm 145:4

God is that great that you want to proclaim all He is. Like passing a baton from one generation to another generation, we all praise the Lord. For all God is and has done, we praise Jesus. What is something can you thank God for today?

Thanks Jesus for who you are. Your works inspire me, how great you are Lord.

Holy Spirit’s comfort

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Philippians 2:1,2

What a wonderful God we serve. The Holy Spirit’s comfort, encouragement and love is something remarkable. There is tenderness and compassion in knowing Jesus. Grateful to be a believer. I wish everyone could know the great love of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, thanks for being my God. Help me follow you with all of my heart.

Word of God

Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Proverbs 30:5

When you go to the Word of God you will find peace and comfort in Jesus. Like a shield around us, the Spirit of God covers our lives. If something has been tested, you can be secure that what your getting is a quality product. The Bible has been tested, praise Jesus.

Thanks Lord for your words of life. Gratefulness that you are a shield around my life.

The path of life

The path of life leads upward for the wise that he may keep away from Sheol below.

Proverbs 15:24

God leads us upward in Him. As you go about your day, he is your strength and song. Praise Jesus, there’s much to have thankfulness for. God is always leading us onward and upward. In what way have you known the Lord leading your life?

Following Jesus

If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. Mark 8:34

When you decide to follow Jesus, that’s a journey of a lifetime that begins with a small step. Taking up your cross is a daily happening. Following Jesus has that element of telling Jesus yes and denying oneself. It might not always be easy and yet very rewarding as you know the closeness of the Lord.

Thanks Jesus for you presence and peace. Help me live in surrender to you daily as I love you.

Courage and strength

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24

Thank God for his courage and strength. As your hope is in God, take courage, the Lord can strengthen you. What better place to put your hope than in Jesus. Knowing he cares and is your shepherd gives you courage living for Jesus.

Jesus, thanks for your Holy Spirit that strengthens me.

Hope in Jesus

O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. Psalm 130:7

The Lord is good. As hoping in the Lord is the direction of our lives, we can know the lovingkindness of the Lord. Whatever you need is in Jesus; there is hope, love and peace in the Holy Spirit. We are God’s people and He is our deliverer. Praise Jesus.

Thanks Jesus for your great love. Help me to hope in you Lord.

Lovingkindness

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, For  His lovingkindness is everlasting. Psalm 136:1

There is much to give thanks to Jesus for. Today praising God for His goodness and lovingkindness. God has lovingkindness that is forever. Spending time with Jesus, is like being with love, because God is love.

Thanks Jesus for your love and goodness.

Heaven

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18

Heaven, a place where our lives will be poured out in worship. Praise God for the hope that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. When you realise how much Jesus loves you and that what you are going through can’t be comparable to the future in Christ Jesus, praise God!

Thank you Jesus for your encouragement and peace in God for the future.

God’s Word

Truly, truly, I say unto you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life. John 5:24

Grateful for the first time I heard the gospel, that Jesus gave his life and we are saved by believing. What a gracious Lord. Today when you hear God’s word, really hear. In life, there’s something very wonderful about walking with Jesus.

In awe

More than the sounds of many waters, Than the mighty breakers of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty. Psalm 93:4

Whatever incredible landscapes such as oceanic waves you have ever seen, God created all of these. He is mighty. Have you gone to the beach on a big swell day and seen the large waves as they cascade onto the water. That is something to be in awe of God of.

Thanks God. I am in awe of your creativity and how majestic you are.

Comfort and peace

Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord. Psalm 130:1

Have you ever been there, at the depths. There you know the Lord the most close as there you have much need of Jesus. The Lord hears every prayer and praise God that He answers prayer. Jesus can help you get up again and lift your head. There is great hope in the name of the Lord.

Jesus, thanks for hearing every prayer, for your comfort and peace.

Preparing

“Other seed fell into the good soil and grew up, and produced a crop a hundred times as great.” Luke 8:8

Good soil can make a hundred times of a difference in a crop. As we cultivate in our lives a heart after God and seeking the will of God, what God can do is multiply the work being done. What can you do today to prepare your life for the Word of God in your life?

Help of the Holy Spirit

Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. Psalm 54:4

The Holy Spirit is the helper. As we give our lives to Jesus, the help of the Holy Spirit keeps us going strong. By the grace of God, our soul life is renewed. To go to God as your helper, is the best place to be. Praise God that we can declare, “Lord you are my helper.” What a wonderful God we serve.

Jesus, thanks for your companionship and love.

Spirit and life

It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing; the words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. John 6:63

Praise God for the Holy Spirit. Jesus exclaimed that the Spirit gives life and that was the very words that Jesus spoke as spirit and life. We can allow the richness of Jesus’ words to pour over our lives. As you listen to the Word of God, you are going to be encouraged as the Holy Spirit brings life to the Bible. Has something in God’s Word really blessed you recently?

Learning from Jesus

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus wants to take our burdens as we go to Him. Jesus is gentle and humble and He wants us to learn from Him. God has rest for our souls as we are learning from Jesus. What Jesus expects us to carry, his yoke, is easy and his burden isn’t wearisome, it is light. What is something in your walk that God is teaching you at the moment? As we learn from Jesus the burden is less and the tether is light.

Lord Jesus, I love you and I want to go to you each day, I want to learn from you very much.

Journey close to Jesus

Teach me your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. Psalm 86:11

Wholehearted in your respect of God and prayers of knowing the Lord’s ways is a journey of being close to Jesus. You can be vulnerable with God, knowing he cares.  What could you ask the Lord today?

Thanks Jesus, being able to pray to you is everything to me. Cause my heart to totally respect you and show me your ways.

The will of God

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

The will of God is to have a joyful life, pray about everything and give thanks no matter what. In Jesus, there’s always reason to rejoice. There’s always something to give thanks for. What in your day can you give thanks about? Praying continually is a good challenge. Prayer can help us go past obstacles that only Jesus could help us pass.

Thanks Jesus for each new day and the opportunity to praise and thank you Lord and to pray as we go.

Rise up

God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and self discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

Sometimes you find you need to rise up and live beyond fear that can hold us back, because fear is not from God. Praise Jesus for the comfort of his love and the courage that he has given us a spirit of power, love and self discipline. Each new day is an opportunity to live well for Jesus.

Praise Jesus for blessing us with a spirit of power, love and self discipline. Today I turn from fear and live for you Jesus.
