Help of the Holy Spirit

Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not, Lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs. Isaiah 54:2

Because of the Holy Spirit in your life, you have the capacity for more. What you do today can make a real difference. The Lord is with you. We have the help of the Holy Spirit. How can you build your capacity in the Lord today?

Thanks Jesus for every day, that you are closer than I know.

Hearing the Word

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Praise God for the word of God. When you hear the Word, that’s life changing. Even sharper than a sword, the Bible helps us grow and encourages us in our faith. It’s almost like the Bible reads you. What a blessing to be able to read the word.

Thanks Jesus for the Word of God.

Genuine faith

They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42

Having a mindset to grow is one of the most exciting things about being a believer. When you have a passion for God, that changes everything. Fellowship is very healthy and sparks revival. God can tell you have genuine faith in Him. Being a part of community, learning from our leaders, breaking bread and prayer are keys to renewal.

Thanks Jesus, help grow my passion for you today, amen.

Jesus’ grace

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1

Ever grateful for the grace that is in Christ Jesus. If we lived under the law we could never attain to the standard God sets. God loves us where we are at, and grows in us the fruit of repentance. Thank God for His grace.

Thankyou Jesus, I can live well in your grace.

Precious to God

I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4

The Lord rescues, delivers and saves. God is able to take what you bring him in prayer and answer you. Those moments you spend in prayer as never wasted. Precious to God, every time you step up in Him to pray, Jesus delights in you.

Praise you Lord, you are my deliverer.

New strength

The strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired. Isaiah 40:31

Waiting on the Lord causes your strength to be renewed. You can have new energy in Christ. Have you seen the way eagles soar effortlessly? Have hope as you wait apon Jesus. The Holy Spirit gives us new strength.

Thanks Jesus for your impartation of strength as I wait apon you.

Respect of the Lord

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and his children will have refuge. Proverbs 14:26

Respect of the Lord gives you confidence. We can spend our lives living in awe and wonder of God. Keeping close to Jesus is the place of strong confidence. Your children will have security also.

Thanks Jesus that I can live in awe of you.

Jesus’ praise

Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Psalm 149:1

Lifting up praise to Jesus is something that can be a constant in our lives. When you sing a new song to the Lord, what a blessing to His heart. Altogether singing praise in a congregation, there’s a corporate anointing that encourages.

Praise you Jesus. Thanks for who you are.

Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the Lord. 1 Chronicles 16:36

We can edify each other in praising the Lord. Praise Jesus who is forever. How can you praise the Lord today? Praise him for who he is. Praise Jesus as creator. Praise God for being Lord! God is alive from everlasting to everlasting. That is beyond comprehension.

Praise you Jesus. You are the God of Israel. The Lord who lives forever.

The Lord keeps you

A bruised reed shall he not break, and a smoking flax shall he not quench. Isaiah 42:3

When you feel at your weakest, the Lord keeps you. Putting your hope in God is real comfort. He is our healer and deliverer. God is the keeper of lives and is compassionate. What better than align one’s life to Jesus.

Jesus, thanks for your love and comfort.

Expectation

I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. Psalm 130:5

What is your expectation in the Lord today? You can hope in His word. Waiting in the Lord’s presence is the place of miracles. Finding hope in the Word can lift your day.

Thanks Jesus, I wait apon you. In you, I hope.

Give thanks

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Psalm 118:1

There are many reasons to give thanks to Jesus, uncountable reasons! The Lord is good, with lovingkindness that is forever. Praise Jesus for His goodness! As you go about your day, know that God loves you, He has great purpose for you, in praising His name.

Preaching the gospel

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15

The gospel preached brings opportunities for people to meet Jesus. We can always be ready to share the good news. We go through different times in life. Sometimes, even in the valley, there you can share with people that God is with you even there.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to share the gospel with people.

Jesus cares

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7

Anytime you need, God will be there. Jesus cares for every one of us. Instead of bearing the burdens yourself, giving your cares to God, lightens the load we are carrying. Is there something you could give to God today? Praise Jesus for his lovingkindness.

Praise God

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1

Remembering Jesus is what praise does. As we bless the Lord, God is magnified. Is there a praise song that has been an encouragement to you? Praising the Lord is a believer’s joyful privilege.

Thanks Jesus, every day I want to praise you.

Jesus’ love

I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39.

Praise God for Jesus’ love. That nothing can separate us from the love of God is great comfort. During your day, you can know that Jesus is thinking of you. What a wonderful God we serve. Always with you, ever faithful.

Thanks Jesus for your great love.

Hope in Jesus

We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice for we trust in His holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33:20-22

The Lord is our help and shield. Gratefulness that in Jesus is our hope. Whatever the season of life, God is there. When you take a step closer to Jesus, He draws close to you. The one that made the planets and earth, cares about each one of us.

Thanks Jesus for who you are, praying your unfailing love surrounds us.

Praise

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing unto your name, O most high. Psalm 92:1

As we sing to the Lord and praise Jesus, the scripture reminds us that is good. When you have that idea to praise, what a blessing to give thanks. That can be as you walk along, in your car or wherever you are. Just begin and what will follow is wonderful melodies to the Lord.

Lord Jesus, I love to bring you praise. Thankyou for who you are Lord.

Friendship

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Proverbs 27:17

Gratefulness for friendships that cause you to sharpen up and be better in life. Everyday life is meant for community because, together we can do more good. That friendship with Jesus is the greatest of all. What has God ministered to you of late in your daily walk?

Thanks Jesus for everything you are that you are the close friend that sharpens. Help me live well in community and build quality friendships.

Jesus’ words

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7

Living in Christ is the place of miracles. What can you believe for today? Keeping on listening to the Word builds faith. Every verse is God breathed and heaven sent. Is there a passage of scripture that has blessed you recently?
