Hope in Jesus

We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice for we trust in His holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33:20-22

The Lord is our help and shield. Gratefulness that in Jesus is our hope. Whatever the season of life, God is there. When you take a step closer to Jesus, He draws close to you. The one that made the planets and earth, cares about each one of us.

Thanks Jesus for who you are, praying your unfailing love surrounds us.

Strength and peace

The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11

The Lord has strength for your life. When you are about your everyday life, you can be aware of the Holy Spirit with you. Leaning on Jesus is not a weakness. When you are weak, then you strong in the Lord. What a blessing is being with the Lord.

Thanks Jesus for your strength and peace today.

You’re not done yet

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. Isaiah 43:1b, 2

There is such comfort and compassion in Jesus. When you have a hard time, God will get you through. When you go on a journey you have a destination to get to. You can pass through waters, that’s not your destination. You could pass through rivers, you’re not done yet. You can walk through fire and that won’t even hurt you. That’s the miracle, you being delivered. God will see you through.

Close to Jesus

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge, That I may tell of Your works. Psalm 73:28

Being close to the Lord is good. When you purpose in your heart to draw near to Jesus, that is a place you can proclaim His greatness with authenticity. In God, you are his beloved, precious child and friend. What is something you could do today to bless your relationship with Jesus?

Praise you Jesus for the blessing of knowing you.

Delighting in the Lord

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:4-5

There’s something significant about delighting in the Lord. There might be challenges, God can help you. Have you the faith to believe God has a greater plan than you can imagine.  Commit everything to Jesus, the Holy Spirit can help you.

Praise you Jesus, in you I delight. Thanks for your help Lord.

Waiting on Jesus

My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation. Psalm 62:1

Waiting on the Lord causes us to build up our spirit. Jesus is our salvation. Praise the Lord that He saves us. You can put your hope in God. Seasons of waiting can be hard, the Lord sustains us.

Thank you Jesus, waiting apon you Lord.

Covenant keepers

All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and testimonies. Psalm 25:10

How wonderful to walk with Jesus. Just as He is a covenant keeping God, we can keep covenant with Him also. There is sometimes a battle for our hearts attention and all our love belongs to Jesus. Gratefulness for every new day of knowing the Lord.

Thanks Jesus, your my Lord and I want to follow in your paths.

Living content

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

Psalm 23:1

Having the Lord as your shepherd is living life content. Because in Jesus is everything you need, you are sufficient in Him. What need do you have that could be fulfilled in Jesus? Being close to Jesus is being guided by him.

Thanks Lord, you are my shepherd. All I need is in you.

Living hope

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3

Praise God that He has caused us to be born again. We are new people. As Jesus rose from the dead, we too have a new life in Jesus. That’s something to celebrate. What great mercy has Jesus our Lord. God can give us opportunities to share the hope we have in Jesus as we pray.

Lord Jesus, thanks for new life in you. Please can you send me opportunities to share the gospel. Thanks Lord.

Jesus’ love

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39.

Jesus has a love that is complete. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Praise God. How much He loves us. Whatever your day was like, be encouraged that Jesus’ love is the constant in your life. As you praise Jesus, the overflow of that is the presence of God in Christ Jesus. When our lives enter in to the presence of God, worries are eased, our brokenness healed and close together in Jesus’ love are we.

Jesus thanks for your love, the constant in life.

Believe

Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31

The entry point of being saved is really that simple. To believe in Jesus, is to be saved. How many people would be saved if they knew all they needed was to believe. Really wonderful news we have to tell everyone.

Praise you Lord for the gift of salvation. Give me opportunities to share the good news to others, amen.

More than conquerors

In everything we have won more than a victory because of Christ who loves us. Romans 8:37

We get to be more than conquerors through Jesus. He won that at the cross and and when He rose again. Praise God. We have overwhelming victory in Jesus. Undeserved grace is something to be forever grateful of.

Praise you Lord Jesus, that because of you we are more than conquerors.

Dreams, visions and prophecy

but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour out my Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophecy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams.’ Acts 2:16,17

What a time to be alive when the Holy Spirit is being poured out. As the Holy Spirit moves, we can have words of prophecy and visions and dreams. Are you expectant for how the Spirit will move in your life? What has God whispered to you as you wait apon Him?

Thanks Jesus, I am expectant for how you will move in my life today.

Believer’s delight

My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul. Psalm 108:1

To keep close to the Lord is a believer’s delight. Singing praises lifts up Jesus and will change your day. There’s much to sing about. Jesus has set us free and delivered us. When you sing, you can imagine there could be angels singing as well. Praise the Lord!

Thanks God for your presence. I want to praise you and thank you.

God purpose

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

God made each one of us special. Created for God purpose. The Holy Spirit goes before us to make a way for good works in Christ Jesus. In every day there is much to give thanks about. Thankfulness for God opportunities. Praise to Jesus for walking this path with us.

Lord, I thank you that you have gone before me today. Believing for miracles as I step in faith.

Life purposed

This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek your face- even Jacob. Selah. Psalm 24:6

We have a life purposed to seek the Lord. Having a daily quiet time helps us remember Jesus through the day. What creative ways have you discovered to have a quiet time? Everyday there is something new in the Lord.

Thanks Jesus for your presence. Help me stay close to you.

Be strong and courageous

Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1: 9

God has courage for you to live. You can walk forward in faith, knowing that Jesus is always with you. God doesn’t want us to be discouraged. Instead be encouraged that you always have the Lord.

Thanks Jesus that you are there for me. Praise your name Jesus.

Answered prayer

And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Matthew 21:22

What are you believing for today? The scripture encourages us that when we ask in prayer and believe, we can receive. Praise God for every answer to prayer. Jesus is the God of the breakthrough.

Thank you Jesus that you hear my prayers and answer them.

Faith of believers

Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn And to the quarry from which you were dug. Isaiah 51:1

What we are living in is what generations before have pioneered. We stand on their shoulders. People of faith that have prayed the way before us, still make an impact today. What people of faith have inspired you to live for Jesus?

Thanks Jesus, I delight in you Lord. Thanks for people of faith that have pioneered the path before our lives.

Jesus’ presence

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Waiting on the Lord causes you to soar like an eagle. You find new strength and energy. How do you wait on the Lord? Everyday life with Jesus is catching moments to be together. Thankful for the presence of the Lord.
