Fulfilment
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. Isaiah 40:28
Have you great need of the Lord? The Lord knows. He has an understanding beyond comprehension. The one that made the earth has all that we need. He doesn’t get tired like we often do. When you go to Jesus, that’s exactly the place of greatest fulfilment. What a blessing to know the Lord.
Thanks Jesus, I need you Lord.
New strength
The strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired. Isaiah 40:31
Waiting on the Lord causes your strength to be renewed. You can have new energy in Christ. Have you seen the way eagles soar effortlessly? Have hope as you wait apon Jesus. The Holy Spirit gives us new strength.
Thanks Jesus for your impartation of strength as I wait apon you.
Knowing Jesus
For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself. Luke 9:25
You matter to God. There is so much to gain in this world, but at what cost. Knowing Jesus is the ultimate. Being set apart for God causes us to see everything in a new light. Praise Jesus for life in Christ. What are you thankful for in your relationship with God?
Thanks Jesus for being ever close. Help me prioritise my walk with you, amen.
More being saved
And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:47
When someone is saved, that’s a miracle from God. If we could remember to ask the Lord for more souls to be saved, I wonder what an impact the Holy Spirit would have in the world around us.
Thank you Lord for every soul that has been saved and I pray that more would be added each new day, amen.
Jesus’ love
I will sing of the Lord’s unfailing love forever. Psalm 89:1
Great is the Lord’s love and that’s a love that doesn’t fail. That much that the psalmist exclaimed that He would sing forever of the Lord’s unfailing love. Have you a song to sing to Jesus of the Lord’s love. Praise Jesus! When gratefulness fills our lives, that is a good place to be. Because of the love of God we can love others from God’s love through our lives.
Lord thanks for your unfailing love. What a blessing to know you and follow you Jesus. Help me love people from that example of your love. Praise you Jesus.
God hears our prayers
My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation. Psalm 62:1
Do you remember a time that you waited on the Lord in desperation? He is the God of our salvation. Waiting on the Lord is a delight. Thank God that He hears our prayers. Laying all you have at the feet of Jesus, and waiting on Him draws us closer to Him.
Lord, I need you more than words and articulate. Help me draw near to you today.
Hope in the Lord
The strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired. Isaiah 40:31
Spending time in the presence of God can help revive you. When you are weak, the place to go is the presence of God. He can strengthen and renew you there. We enter in as we praise and worship Jesus. That could be like the default of you life to praise and worship Jesus and therefore enter the presence of Christ. You can then run and not become weary and walk and not get tired.
Praise you Jesus for the strength and renewal of your presence.
Confirmation
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Have you ever been in a conversation when you each say the same thing at the time? As we read the Bible prayerfully, the Holy Spirit often confirms what is in our spirits with the Word of God. It’s almost like the Bible reads us and sharpens us up.
Thanks Jesus for your Word, lead me and guide me in your truth, amen.
Lovingkindnesses
I shall make mention of the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, the praises of the Lord Isaiah 63:7
Hasn’t the Lord been good to us! We can bring our praises to Jesus, He is worthy. As your life has been impacted by the Lord’s lovingkindness, you can’t help except to praise and thank Him for all He has done and who He is. There is a song of freedom in the Holy Spirit, that as you praise Jesus you are ushered in to the presence of God. Are you ready to step in to a great time in the Lord?
Praise you Jesus for your great lovingkindness.
Remembering Jesus
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 1 Corinthians 11:26
When you take part in communion what a blessing. We are remembering Jesus Christ and what He did that we can all be saved. As we have communion, we are proclaiming Jesus death until He comes back. This is a powerful declaration of our belief in Jesus. Great purpose is there in remembering Jesus.
Jesus thanks for your sacrifice for each and every one.
Peace
For He himself is our peace. Ephesians 2:14
Jesus is the embodiment of peace. The person of Jesus who gave His life for us to make peace with God, is the same Christ who is alive today. What areas of your life has God caused peace to reign? Is there more of your life to invite Jesus’ peace in? We bring an atmosphere of peace of the presence of God with us wherever we go. God can cause you to flourish even in a dry place because of His anointing.
Lord, I thank you for your presence and that your peace is right there.
Hunger for Jesus
Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:4-5
The desire you have for Jesus causes you to seek the Lord. There is much more to learn in Him. Like a river, the Lord has life for us, and can teach us and lead and save us. Waiting on the Lord is a good place to be. That hunger you have for Jesus is precious to God.
Praise you Lord for being my salvation. Teach me your ways and guide me in your truth.
Living water
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13,14
Do you remember being parched? Then when you have a nice, cool glass of water, you feel better. Jesus has water for us that we will never thirst again. Like a perpetual spring of water, that wells up to eternal life. Spending time with Jesus is really healthy for our souls. The Lord has what we need.
Praise you Jesus for being there. How much I need you Lord.
God’s promises
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20
All of God’s promises have a yes and amen. Praise Jesus. When you pray, God backs up every one of his promises. That’s a reason to pray the Scripture. As we pray, we are declaring God’s promises over the atmosphere and believing for Jesus’ blessing and prayer covering. If you think of all the promises God has made in the Bible, that’s pretty exhaustive. Praise Jesus that each one is yes and amen.
Lord Jesus, thanks for all the scriptures I can declare and believe.
Blessing the Lord
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises! Psalm 57:7
There will never be a time that God does not love you or care about you. When you know the love of God, wonderful praises happen! Delighting in the Lord is reveling in His love. Praise is exuberant. You can set your heart to God’s love. We have so much to thank him for. Blessing the Lord for all He has done and who He is.
Praise you Jesus, all I have to worship you Lord.
The presence of God
As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? Psalm 42:1,2
There is a place in our lives that can only be filled from the Holy Spirit. God’s presence is to be longed for as that is the place we belong. Of all the places you can put your expectations, the presence of God is the place of true fulfilment. Our love for God can be tempered as we pour our lives upon Jesus afresh.
Jesus, I long for your presence. When can I get that time before you.
Jesus’ strength
The strength of those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't grow tired. Isaiah 40:31
As we spend time in the presence of God, there is new strength. You can catch the wind of the spirit like an eagle soars through the sky. Life can leave us weary, yet in the presence of God, we can run and not get weary. What a wonder is Jesus, that in him, we can be strong.
Praise you Jesus, you are my strength.
Best friend
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me. John 5:39
The Bible is filled with words of life that are like sign posts that Jesus is alive. In Jesus we have eternal life. It is really awesome that we can have a real relationship with Jesus, just like you would a best friend. With every new day, there is opportunities to delight in the Lord. How can you draw near to Jesus today?
Praise you Jesus. Thanks for being the constant highlight of my life.
Living for Jesus
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” 1 Chronicles 16:31
Living for Jesus is having a life full of purpose. All creation praises the Lord. The kingdom of God has come to earth. The Lord reigns! Praise God. Today how can you celebrate the Lord? We can praise Him for what He has done and who He is.
Thanks Jesus for being my Lord. Thankyou that you reign.
Atmosphere of thankfulness
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Psalm 105:1
Thankfulness isn’t something that just happens, you can build an atmosphere of thankfulness. What God has done is more than can be expressed. Great and wonderful is our God. Have you ever felt that pumped about God that you just want to tell everyone. That’s how much God meant to the psalmist. If you thank God, that’s the entrance of Jesus’ presence. Praise God!
Thanks Jesus for who you are and what you have done. Help me be as pumped as never before to declare your praises.
