Jesus is everything
Loyalty makes a person attractive. It is better to be poor than dishonest. Proverbs 19:22
What truly matters is doing the right thing. God is a covenant keeping God and He wants our lives to reflect Him because we are made in His image. When you are always loyal, you are the one who is a winner. “How blessed and favored are the people in such circumstance; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored] are the people whose God is the Lord!” Psalm 144:15 As we live in gratefulness, we will stay aware of the goodness of Jesus. Wholeheartedly following the Lord is our life calling. Being fervent in prayer and unwavering in believing is having Jesus on the throne of our hearts.
Lord Jesus, you are my everything. Thanks for saving me from the world and for eternity. Help me live for you wholeheartedly and lead in example.
Rejoicing in Jesus
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
How precious is every day in Jesus. Enjoying the Lord is our daily portion. Whatever the weather and season, we get to have such grace and peace in God. Our happiness doesn’t depend on our circumstances because we build our lives around Jesus, we have the blessing of closeness with the Lord. Praise His name. “The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good to them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him.” Lam. 3:24
Lord Jesus, you are my best friend. Everyday I rejoice in you Lord. Thanks for making today.
Blessings in Christ
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18
God always rescues us. You can trust that you have angels protecting you and defending you. Praise Jesus, He is our hiding place. You don’t have to live worried, trying to defend yourself, you have been delivered by the Lord. “In peace He has redeemed my soul from the battle against me, though there were many against me.” Psalm 55:18 Being in the family God, is to know the nurture and care of God. As you put your hope in Jesus alone, what blessings are yours in Christ! The Holy Spirit covers our lives. His presence is like a shield around us.
Lord Jesus, you are the lion of the tribe of Judah and I am so grateful that in your praise is deliverance.
Living in the presence of God
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21
As you are listening for the voice of the Holy Spirit, you will be able to make positive course corrections every day. God wants us to live in fellowship not just in our prayer times, also in the busyness of life. He wants to help us, He is the helper God sent. The Lord wants to help us even in the smallest tasks. God’s presence dwells with us, praise Jesus. “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.” Revelation 21:3
Lord Jesus, thanks for your wonderful presence. Help me be listening for your voice and be attentive to you every day.
Peace in Jesus
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
The Lord keeps us in peace. Healthy faith communities are healthy because everyone has respect for each other. We do our best not to cross people’s boundaries because we want to keep a safe community. How have you been blessed in your believing community? I have been so incredibly blessed over the years being a part of church that is life giving and whole. There is such peace that people of God have. That’s a peace that guards us. Praise Jesus!
Lord Jesus, Thanks for your presence and the blessing of being a part of a healthy community. Keep me in your peace at all times.
Safe place
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. Romans 6:6
The Lord has saved us from various situations and set us free. As we are in Jesus, we are forever new people, walking in holiness and in freedom from the chains that had bound us. Do you have something to give thanks to God for? Remembering all the Lord has rescued us from is positive steps forward. You are now safe and protected and kept by God, the redeemer of our souls. We get to be a part of seeing people set free in Jesus and living secure in God’s love. “It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed].” Galatians 5:1
Lord Jesus, I remember all you have done and give thanks to you. You are my rock, my refuge and safe place.
Goodness of God
“But if I go to the east, he is not there;
if I go to the west, I do not find him.
When he is at work in the north, I do not see him;
when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him.
But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Job 23:8-10
When you feel like you are in the refining fire, know that God will not leave you there. As we go through testing, the Lord is bringing the gold out in us. Job was searching for God in his life. He was in a process where only God knew what was happening. Keep your hope in the Lord. Even when you have difficulties, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He refines us in times of uncertainty and suffering that we one day we will reminisce of how good the Lord has been to us.
Lord Jesus,
Thanks for always being there, I trust and hope in you always. Praise you for your goodness and mercy that follow
Jesus, working in multitudes
“‘“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”’ Numbers 6:24-26
As we proclaim blessings over those who are in our lives, we are having a kingdom impact inter generationally. When you think of people, you have to wonder who’s covering them in prayer. Your prayers can be as far reaching as you can imagine. When people are lovingly covered in prayer, what a wonderful difference is made.
Remember that Jesus love is working in multitudes, like the feeding of the 5000. He is the bread of life. While we are on this side of eternity, there are many more people to be saved, delivered, healed and set apart for God.
Heavenly Father, thanks for your love for people. Help me increase my belief in your moving in lives we are praying for.
Passion of our hearts
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1
Today, you are surrounded by the love and goodness of the Lord. We have so much to thank Jesus for. God has lovingkindness for us that never ends. He is holy and worthy of all of our praise. His love is so pure and high and long and wide. When you get to know the Lord, you are ever surprised with his love and close fellowship. “The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.” Ps 25:14 As we go after the Lord, we become caught up in who He is and Jesus becomes the passion of our hearts.
Heavenly Father, your love and grace gives me wings to fly. Teach me your ways Lord.
Keep your peace
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. Micah 7:7
What do you do when you’re faced with realities, to keep your peace. Micah was living in hard times and we see in this verse how the prophet stayed in peace. He was watching for the Lord and waiting for Him. Micah was expecting the Lord His Savior. He was confident that God heard His prayer. When everyone is looking here and there, we are the ones focused on Jesus, watching and waiting, listening, praying and hoping.
Lord Jesus, you’re the one I follow. I am waiting for you, expecting your return soon. Thanks for hearing my prayer.
Comforter and counsellor
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
The Word of God searches our hearts and shines on the path before us. The words spoken by the Lord comfort us when we are low, bring encouragement when we feel weary and in gentleness show us the way forward. How can I let the Word shine in my life, that I may see the world around me through God’s eyes? As we interpret scripture through the lens of Jesus death and resurrection and the coming of the Holy Spirit our comforter and counsellor, we shall be so blessed with the richness of what we discover.
Lord Jesus, each new day I want to live in the light of your words, being empowered to love you and love people by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Giftings are for everyone
For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. 2Timothy 1:7
God wants us to live in a spirit of power, of love and self discipline. He has given us that. When we hold back our giftings, we are really holding off of other’s blessings, because our giftings are for everyone. “But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand.” Isaiah 32:8 God has given each one of us ways to make a good difference in people’s lives. What’s an area you could take off the shelf and be bold in Jesus!
Lord Jesus, I desire spiritual giftings so I can come up with ways of being a blessing. Thanks for empowering me to live boldly for you Lord.
Laughing at your tomorrows
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. Proverbs 31:25
You can look forward to the future with no fear, because you know Jesus walks beside you. The Lord goes before us. We can thank God that our future is secure in His love and righteousness over our lives. “The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in From this time and forever.” Psalm 121:8 Have you ever been thinking about how much prayers from your loved ones have caused you peace in Jesus, blessing and protection?
Heavenly Father, thanks for your presence and closeness. Thanks that you have written every day of my life in your book. I pray for my family and friends, your peace, blessings and supernatural protection, in Jesus’ name.
Praying for souls
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
Because our hearts are for Jesus, our hearts are for souls, as that means so much to God. When we are thinking of souls, we are thinking what is on God’s mind. And the really precious aspect is we get to partner with God to pray and seek the Lord for people to meet Jesus. Who could you ask the Holy Spirit to draw to the Father today. What people groups or demographics can you pray for revival and reconciliation with God, Jesus saving multitudes.
Lord God, thanks for sending Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins. I pray for souls to come to know you God. I pray for people groups for revival, in Jesus’ name.
So much blessing
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
The Lord can bless us so much, that we can bless people and have nothing to hold us back from all Jesus calls us to. If you have had lack in areas of your life, ask the Lord who is able to cause blessings to overtake you. When thinking of our tithes, that’s something God says we can test the Lord in. He always provides what we need. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 God has so much blessing for us. More blessing that we can contain.
Heavenly Father, thanks for your constant support. Thanks for blessing me, so I can be a blessing.
Lives in Jesus
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything from us, but our sufficiency. 2 Corinthians 3:5
We live in a time where there are hacks for everything. AI is the biggest shortcut. And yet we are not self made people. In ourselves, we are not sufficient. Only God is all sufficient. In Jesus, we find everything we need. He is our all sufficiency. All the grace we need, the truth and mercy. All the wisdom needed, every miracle we need, everything is in the name of Jesus. We cannot flourish without being connected with Him. We live well as we have an interdependence with Jesus and godly people who we surround ourselves with, knowing we will thrive in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in, because of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, I drop everything and just say I need you so very much. Help me draw closer to you and build healthy and godly friendships, amen.
Needing direction?
Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21
Is so good the way the Lord guides so gently. Praise Jesus for his abiding presence and for being the living Word. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. Whether you need direction for your decisions or discernment in your life, God is there to help us. We are not left helpless. We can be bold approaching the Lord. What could you bring to Jesus today? How has the Lord guided you?
Heavenly Father, thanks for your presence. You are very dear to me. Help me hear your voice and the gentleness of your guidance.
Prayer confidence
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15
Whenever you need the Lord, He’s available for you. You can have confidence going to Jesus. Because we know that He hears our prayers, we know we have what we have asked for. That’s what faith is. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 He’s the Lord that turns situations around. God meets you at the place of your need as you seek Him. Whenever you cry out to God, the Holy Spirit moves in response.
Lord Jesus, I am in need of you so much. I ask you please turn these situations around, in Jesus’ name, amen. Thankyou for hearing my prayer Lord.
Holy and blameless
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world for us to be holy and blameless before Him, in love. Ephesians 1:4
Even before the creation of the world, God chose you as holy and blameless before the Lord. Your value is unquantifiable by our measure. Every life that is conceived has immeasurable value and very loved by our Father God. The Lord calls us holy and blameless and because of that living for God by the Spirit is life to the full. How can we reframe our thinking to realign with God’s Word. Have you ever heard of the flat earthers? They are people who still believe that the earth is flat and not curved. When God provides us with new revelations, that is what we are to live by. You were created on purpose, for a purpose and are set apart for Jesus, holy in His sight. Imagine what life was like when people discovered the earth was circular. There would have been back lash as people would learn about the new revelation. A part of knowing the Lord is learning continually. What has the Holy Spirit been enlightening you about lately?
Father God, thanks that you love and value each person immeasurably and that you call us holy and blameless in you Jesus. Help me live in your love and revealed Word Lord.
Jesus promises
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalms 23:3
God promises us goodness and mercy that will follow us for all our days. When you have times of success, that’s when you can give praise to God and the same in our suffering. The Lord will bring us to new heights again. His goodness and mercy follows us. Hold on to your hope in Jesus. You will walk out the other side of the valleys, all the while finding eternal peace in the Lord.
Lord Jesus, thanks for your love, mercy and grace. In every moment I feel you are with me.
