Need for the Holy Spirit

"I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1,2

The Lord is our help. God is our refuge and hiding place. People find their hope in all sorts of places, except we find our hope in God. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 If people would turn to Jesus for the help they need, how surprised they would be! Is not a weakness to need the Lord, is the greatest thing. What builds resilience is knowing where your help comes from, Jesus. God brings super to our natural and the extra to our ordinary. How greatly we need the Holy Spirit in our lives.

What could you commit to the Lord today, asking for His help?

How could you lean on Jesus more today?

Heavenly Father,

Thanks for your empowerment and grace. Help me lean on you Jesus and look to you for help always.
