Immense love

"Let all that you do be done in love." 2 Corinthians 16:14

Everything we do, needs a good measure of love as well. Because of the immense love God has shown us, we come from that place of humility where we value and esteem one another. Healthy relationships choose walking in love, even with differences in opinion or view points. The mercy you show is the mercy that will be given to you. “Blessed [content, sheltered by God’s promises] are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.” Matthew 5:7 Sometimes my children have heated discussions about something and is always a point worth making, that we need to love one another, even in our conflicts. My Nanna said to me many times, about my siblings and I, that we would always have each other. That has always been something I have remembered. Love is more than a good idea. Having love is foundational to having healthy relationships and to the communities around us.

How has the love of Jesus influenced your relationship with people around you?

Lord Jesus, thanks for giving up your life for us on the cross. Thanks for your great love. Help me in daily conversations to shine your love.
