Gospel of Jesus

When the centurion, who was standing right in front of Him, saw the way He breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!” Mark 15:39

That moment when someone realise the truth, Jesus is Lord. Jesus gave his life for every one of us, that a way was made for us to have relationship with God. We can pray that more and more people’s lives can be transformed from the gospel of Christ Jesus.

Jesus, praise you for giving your life for us. Believing for more and more people to know you Lord Jesus.

Presence of God

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him! Bless his name! Psalm 100:4

There is a way to enter the presence of God, praise and worship. Praise Jesus for time in his presence. Each day as you give thanks and bless the Lord what your doing is preparing a way forward in the presence of God. That’s a good plan of closeness to Jesus. As you begin to praise Jesus, such great characteristics of his greatness you can declare. The atmosphere can change as you praise the Lord.

Thanks Jesus, I love to delight in you. Help me remember what a privilege to praise and worship you every day.

Devoted to prayer

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

Being devoted to prayer is a blessing every day. Thanksgiving can help you keep alert as you pray. Devote means to be consecrated, applying yourself. Gratefulness for being able to pray. What happens as we pray, only heaven knows. How could you do to devote yourself praying today?

Thankyou Lord Jesus for every day that we have an opportunity to pray. Help me be diligent in time together Jesus.

Helped

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults and with my song I shall thank Him. Psalm 28:7

Your belief is precious to God. The Lord is the source of strength and our protector. God is our shield. As you go about your day, know that the Holy Spirit is your helper. How has God helped you in seasons of your life? What song can you sing that would praise Jesus because He’s your strength and shield?

Lord Jesus, I trust you and bless you. Thanks for being my strength and shield.

Blessing and comfort

Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a spring; The early rain also covers it with blessings.

Baca means weeping. Even at a place of weeping there can also be blessing in Jesus. And the valley of Baca is something we pass through, we don’t have to stay there. Thank God for the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus thanks for the comfort of the Holy Spirit, you lead us in peace and comfort Lord.

Real love

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:18,19

Praise God for great love that He has for everyone of us individually. The type of love that causes us to love because Jesus loved us first. The type of love that causes fear to leave our lives. When you live from a place of Jesus’ love, you find you can overcome fear in your life.

Lord, guide me in your love as that’s where the overcoming anointing is.

Purpose of God

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of his glory blameless with great joy Jude 13:24

God is able to keep you from falling. Bringing you into the great presence of God, blameless and having great joy. What does that mean for your everyday. That means as you know the purpose of God, you can plan on well-being that reflects Jesus’ goodness toward you.

Thanks Lord that I can be confident that you keep me each day.

Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13

When you need hope, go to Jesus. He is the God of hope. That much encouragement is there in the presence of Christ. God wants you to have hope to the extent that you can’t contain the amount of hope. How can you create space for that purpose of being close to Jesus?

Thanks Jesus for your hope and encouragement. Help me make space for you in the everyday.

Give thanks

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever. Psalm 118:1

Praise the Lord for His goodness and lovingkindness that lasts forever. He cares for every one of us. Thankful to serve God that is always good and always is love. Have you a testimony of the Lord’s goodness in your life?

Thanks Jesus for your lovingkindness.

Conscious of the gospel

I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. 1 Corinthians 9:23

When you go about your days having the gospel in mind, you get the blessings of the gospel. There is much purpose in seeking to reach people for the gospel. How can you encourage others in the knowledge of Christ that could be totally new to them? What could cause you to be conscious of the gospel in everyday life?

Thanks Jesus for the blessing of the gospel, that we can shine for you Lord.

Delight in the will of God

I delight to do your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart. Psalm 40:8

What a beautiful attitude to delight to do the will of God. Jewish people memorise the first five books of the Bible. Such is the love they have for the Word of God. How can you show your love for doing the will of God? Is there a verse or a portion of scripture you would like to commit to memory?

Thanks Jesus for your Word. Help me live for you wholeheartedly and delight in your will Lord.

Thankfulness

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3

Thankful each day the God has blessed us with spiritual blessings in Jesus. We get to be partakers of every blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. What spiritual blessing can you thank Jesus for in your life, at the moment? Praise God for life in Christ.

Jesus, thanks for being my Lord. Thanks God for every blessing in Christ Jesus.

Discipleship

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

What a blessing discipleship is and a positive challenge to be a part of making disciples. Baptism is key to discipleship. Baptism is someone surrendering their life to Jesus totally. Just as Jesus died, as someone goes under the water; and Jesus was raised to life, as they are taken up out of the water. This is significant in a believer’s life, a new life has begun. Praise Jesus for the gift baptism and discipleship is.

Thanks Jesus for discipleship and baptism. Praise you that everything is new in Jesus.

Peace of God

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7

When you have spent time in the presence of God and given everything to Jesus, there’s such a peace. The Bible tells us that as we pray and bring supplication to the Lord, with thanks, the peace of God will be there, keeping our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, today I believe as I pray you will cover my heart and mind with your peace in Jesus.

Much to learn

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8

Wisdom is knowledge with application to life. Thank God that we can ask him for wisdom and He will give us wisdom as we believe. There’s much to learn and grow in wisdom and understanding that makes life better. What is something you can seek God for wisdom in your life today?

Thanks Jesus for help and hope of wisdom and understanding in you Lord.

Hunger for Jesus

Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually. 1 Chronicles 16:11

In our weakness, the Lord is strong. God has strength for us as we ask. Hunger for Jesus can be fanned into flame. Seeking the Lord’s face is like you just want Him, not only what he can do for us, just for knowing Jesus. Such a hunger that continually is the word, that means momentum and going hard after God.

Lord I hunger for you. Teach me to seek you and your strength Jesus.

Place of respect

Praise the Lord! How blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments. Psalm 112:1

Thinking of our schedules, we make time for what is needed. If you live from a place of respect of God, that can even change your priorities and what you have time for. Thankfulness for God that he’s always there. What a blessed life, being able to spend time with Jesus.

Jesus, allowing you to impact every aspect of life. Have your way in my life Lord.

Jesus’ confidence

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. Hebrews 10:35-37

Keep your confidence in Jesus. Believe the Lord is working good as you do God’s will. There is encouragement to have patient endurance to stay in God’s will. Have you ever ran a marathon. You can not sprint the entire way. You need to pace yourself and keep running. When our lives are to serve Jesus, we keep believing and hoping as God’s promises are for real.

Thankyou Jesus, I believe and trust you and seek to serve you.

Being filled

You will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit empowers believers everyday to shine for Jesus. That ability is from the Holy Spirit. When you ask God for a fresh infilling, don’t be surprised if you become passionate for lives and emboldened to share your faith. God meets us at our expectations.

Jesus thanks for a newness of life in you. Fill me today Holy Spirit, that I can be ready to share the gospel wherever I go.

Hearing Jesus’ voice

Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch. Luke 5:4

The disciples were fishing all night and felt like it was inconceivable that they would have a good catch. God knows. When they put their nets down, they become overwhelmed by the huge catch. What a miracle. Hearing the voice of the Lord can mean miracles for your life. Can you make time for a word in season from Jesus?

Praise you Jesus for your word in good timing. Help me hear your tender voice.
