Knowledge for life

How blessed is the man who finds wisdom And the man who gains understanding. Proverbs 3:13

Learning is a life journey, that we able to grow and change. The Bible is like a map book to life, the Holy Spirit guides us every day. Thank God for the precious Holy Spirit. We can ask God for wisdom and He can help us get knowledge for life.

Thanks Jesus, you are my forever and always.

Reason to praise

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us Ephesians 3:20

God causes us great reason to praise. He is able to do more than we can ask or think. The Holy Spirit does a great work in our lives. What hopes, expectation do you have of the Lord? What are your dreams? God wants us to expect great, as then we are lead to pray prayers of great expectation. The Lord is our deliverer, Saviour, healer.

Jesus, thanks for your help that’s heaps more than we can dream. I pray for courage to believe and have faith.

Discipleship

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

What a mystery discipleship is and a challenge to be a part of making disciples. Baptism is key to discipleship. Baptism is someone surrendering their life to Jesus totally. Just as Jesus died, as someone goes under the water and Jesus was raised to life, as they are taken up out of the water. This is significant in a believer’s life, a new life has begun. Praise Jesus for the gift baptism is.

Thanks Jesus for the miracle of discipleship and baptism. Praise you that everything is new in Jesus, we are new people.

Lives for Jesus

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

God made a way for us to be made right with Him through Jesus. He has justified us by faith, our belief in Christ Jesus. Thank Jesus for peace with God. When you made that decision to follow the Lord, you were then set apart as holy for Jesus. It’s good for us to remember what a wonderful Lord we have in Jesus Christ; that saved us and made us right with God.

Thanks Jesus for the gift of salvation, having peace with God.

Praising Jesus

The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to God - orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to God: Yes! God is good! His loyal love goes on forever! 14 The priests couldn't even carry out their duties because of the cloud - the glory of God! 2 Chronicles 5:13,14

What a wonder when the presence of the Lord fills the place! As we praise Jesus in unity, for who He is, and what He’s done, there is such a blessing in the Lord. What is something you can praise the Lord about today?

Thanks Jesus for your wonderful presence and peace.

Hope in Jesus

We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice for we trust in His holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. Psalm 33:20-22

The Lord is our help and shield. Gratefulness that in Jesus is our hope. Whatever the season of life, God is there. When you take a step closer to Jesus, He draws close to you. The one that made the planets and earth, cares about each one of us.

Thanks Jesus for who you are, praying your unfailing love surrounds us.

Being close to Jesus

More than that, I count all things be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ.  Philippians 3:8

Being close to Jesus is worth everything. There is nothing that can compare to that. One day, when we reach heaven, what a wonder, to see Jesus and worship Him. We don’t need to wait until then, our lives on earth are for His glory and praise.

Praise you Jesus for being everything to me.

Faith of believers

Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn And to the quarry from which you were dug. Isaiah 51:1

What we are living in is what generations before have pioneered. We stand on their shoulders. People of faith that have prayed the way before us, still make an impact today. What people of faith have inspired you to live for Jesus?

Thanks Jesus, I delight in you Lord. Thanks for people of faith that have pioneered the path before our lives.

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Psalm 106:1

Praising the Lord is every believer’s delight. We can thank Him for His goodness, for His lovingkindness and grace. Is there a song that has sparked praise recently? How has God blessed you today?

Thanks Jesus, you are everything to me. Praise your name.

Being a light

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15

The gospel preached brings opportunities for people to meet Jesus. We can always be ready to share the good news. We go through different times in life. Sometimes, even in the valley, there you can share with people that God is with you even there. Being a light is living for Jesus.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to share the gospel with people.

Living in the Light

If we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Living in the light, like Jesus, means in community our lives are sanctified and God cleanses us by the precious blood of Jesus. Thankfulness for being able to freely live for Jesus.

Thanks Jesus for your precious blood, that you cleanse us from all sin.

God is able

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. Ephesians 3:20

God is able to do more than you can imagine. The Holy Spirit moves in our lives and does more than we know. Grateful to God for all He is and all He has done and will do. Keep standing on the Word of God.

Thanks Jesus, I believe you are moving and that the Holy Spirit is working in ways beyond my comprehension.

Praise the Lord

It is good to give thanks to the Lord And to sing praises to your name O most high. Psalm 92:1

How much the Lord has done for us. He gave his life that we could be reconciled to to God. His mercies are new every day. Do you have a new song for the Lord today? Praise is fitting, a good thing to give thanks to Jesus!

Praise your name Jesus. You are my rock.

Lovingkindness

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever. Psalm 118:1

Praise the Lord for His goodness and lovingkindness that lasts forever. He cares for every one of us. Thankful to serve God that is always good and always is love. Have you a testimony of the Lord’s goodness in your life?

Thanks Jesus for your lovingkindness.

Believing

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

When you hear the word of God, that gives    you faith. Believing is the place of miracles. What are you believing for today? Praise the Lord that what you are praying for, God is able to do.

Thanks Jesus, I believe you are able to answer prayer and believing today, amen.

Drawing near to Jesus

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord God my refuge, That I may tell of Your works. Psalm 73:28

Being close to the Lord is good. When you purpose in your heart to draw near to Jesus, that is a place you can proclaim His greatness with authenticity. In God, you are his beloved, precious child and friend. What is something you could do today to bless your relationship with Jesus?

Praise you Jesus for the blessing of knowing you.

Bless the Lord

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits Psalm 103:2

It’s easy to forget all the blessings that happen day to day. Praise can help us remember all the blessings in Christ Jesus. Praise Jesus! When you give thanks, you become filled with gratitude for everything Jesus has done and expectant of everything possible in Christ.

Bless you Lord. Thanks for all the blessings in you Jesus.

Worshipping Jesus

God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24

Wholehearted praise and worship reaches the heart of God. There’s something fresh about singing spontaneously to the Lord. We can’t hear the angels singing in heaven, yet if we could, we would never cease to join in worship with heaven.

Praise Jesus! Thanks Lord for who you are.

Lovingkindness

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34

Jesus was the greatest example of love. In the same way, it is our privilege to love one another. The same Jesus who spoke to the disciples, helps us today, in loving one another.

Thanks Jesus for the blessing of lovingkindness.

Love of God

I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39.

Praise God for Jesus’ love. There is something very good about knowing you are the beloved of God. When you read the Word and spend time with Jesus, can you hear the whisper of the love of God. He communicates his love in the Word, like lettered love to us.
