Having the Lord near
The Lord is near to all who call apon Him, To all who call apon Him in truth. Psalm 145:18
Closer to Jesus is the heart’s cry of believers every where. Having the Lord near is everything. How can you draw near to Jesus today? In every day life, we can find moments to praise God and moments to pray that we are drawn closer.
Praise you Lord for your steadfast love. Help me remember you in my day and draw near to you Lord.
Believing
And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Matthew 21:22
What are you believing for today? The scripture encourages us that when we ask in prayer and believe, we can receive. Praise God for every answer to prayer. Jesus is the God of the breakthrough.
Thank you Jesus that you hear my prayers and answer them.
Have faith in God
Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:22-24
Whenever you ask in prayer for something in Jesus’ name, and you believe, you will receive that. The scripture encourages us to have faith in God. What can you believe in God for today? There might be a mountain that is before you that you can see cast into the sea.
Thanks Jesus for every opportunity to believe in faith for something. Help me to lean on you in everything. Amen.

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:4-5
There’s something significant about delighting in the Lord. There might be challenges, God can help you. Have you the faith to believe God has a greater plan than you can imagine. Commit everything to Jesus, the Holy Spirit can help you.
Praise you Jesus, in you I delight. Thanks for your help Lord.

Overcoming
Teach me how to live Lord. Lead me along the right path. Psalm 27:11
Have you had great need of the Lord in your life. Great need can help you draw near and seek God for overcoming anointing. The psalmist asks the Lord to teach and lead him. God can teach us how to live well and put us in the right direction. What a blessing to be taught and lead by the Lord.
Praise you Jesus, thanks for teaching and leading me.
Jesus’ love
Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Luke 19:9,10
Jesus has a heart for the lost. When we align our purpose with Jesus’ purpose we find ourselves believing for the unsaved to to know Jesus. We can pray for opportunities to reach people with the love of God. God can make windows in people’s life to hear and believe.
Thanks Jesus the you came to seek and save the lost. Give me a heart for those who are yet to know you.
Being close to Jesus
More than that, I count all things be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:8
Being close to Jesus is worth everything. There is nothing that can compare to that. One day, when we reach heaven, what a wonder, to see Jesus and worship Him. We don’t need to wait until then, our lives on earth are for His glory and praise.
Praise you Jesus for being everything to me.
God cares for everyone
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7
God cares for everyone. He is there at every moment and everywhere all at the same time. What a wonderful God we serve. How have you known the goodness of God recently? Where you put your hope matters. You can really trust God with everything.
Praise you Lord that I can trust you with my life.

Power of the Holy Spirit
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man
Ephesians 3:16
Praise God for the Holy Spirit. That prayer makes a real difference in lives, is reason to ask for more of the Holy Spirit. Peace that covers our lives, strengthening with power from the Spirit, all in the name of Jesus. If you ask for the Spirit, God will answer you with a gift that is good.
Thanks Jesus, believing for more of the Holy Spirit in my life today, amen.
Works of God
I will meditate on all Your work and muse on Your deeds. Psalm 77:12
The Lord is almost indescribable. His greatness is in fathomable. When you meditate apon the works of the Lord, you will again be amazed at who He is. God is our refuge and strength, our portion and deliverer. He is mighty and able to save. How have you known the faithfulness of God in your life?
Praise you Jesus for being Lord. Thanks for all you have done.
Great purpose
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
The context of the verse is the spiritual giftings and fanning into flame those spiritual gifts of the Lord’s calling on our lives. He has equipped us, given us a spirit of power, love and self discipline. There’s great purpose stepping into your day knowing the Holy Spirit has anointing for every spiritual gifting.
Thanks Jesus for the blessing your Holy Spirit, that anoints and equips us for every good work in Jesus.
Close to Jesus
